无为，是老子《道德经》中的重要概念。其意为：道，就是严格按照自己的职责办事，职责范围以内的事，一定要做得恰到好处；职责范围以外的事，一概不做。后来演变为道教的信仰，无为成为道教徒对自然界的运行和人类社会发展的基本认识。
