Gao Shi ,was a poet of the Tang Dynasty, (Chinese: 高適; pinyin: Gāo Shì, died 765), and whose name, especially in older English transliteration, appears as Kao Shih, and some of whose poems were collected in the popular anthology Three Hundred Tang Poems.
Gao Shi was one of the competitors in the famous wine shop competition along with Wang Zhihuan and Wang Changling.
