中国有五千多年的文明史,作为祖国优秀传统艺术形式之一的书法,自甲骨、钟鼎,到篆、隶、草、楷、行书等,至今已经有三千多年的历史了。汉碑作为汉隶的主要载体,经历了两汉鼎盛、清代中兴、现代繁荣三个重要的发展阶段,对中国书法的发展产生了重大而深远的影响。隶书始于战国,成熟于东汉,它作为篆书的草写,笔画由圆入方,结体由繁入简,这也是文字发展的规律所在。东汉时期,由于生产力的高速发展,各种碑刻的大量出现,在书法艺术领域形成了隶书的第一个高峰,特别是桓、灵二帝时期的大量汉隶碑刻,一碑一貌,风格各异,具有极高的艺术价值。比如《张迁碑》、《衡方碑》、
